The Naples real estate market shows its strength once again in the June 2020 activity. Pending Sales of single family homes increased 89% to 835 Pending Sales as compared to 454 Pending Sales in June 2019. Pending Sales of condominiums increased 38.7% to 634 compared to 457 in June 2019.
While the pandemic did cause a slow down at during the months of March and April, many people have made life changing decisions and explore Naples as their home base. We’re seeing and hearing time and again people stating they have been working from home and why not work from home from Naples, Florida. The Naples lifestyle allows for year round outdoor activities and socializing.
June 2020 had the third highest number of showings, after the seasonally active months of January and February and while Closed Sales were down 4.6% as compared to June 2019, that can be attributed to the market slow down during the months of March and April.
As a result of heightened buyer demand, the median Closed Price increased 8.2% to $357,000 in June 2020 from $330,000 in June 2019.
